What a year it has been at Talent Gallery! As we approach 2026, it’s incredible to look back at how much has happened inside our little creative sanctuary in Wellington. The year has been filled with colour, community, and countless moments of joy - from wonderful exhibitions and new artist arrivals to inspiring workshops and bustling events.
At the heart of it all has been our mission: to champion local artists and makers, provide a welcoming space for creativity to flourish, and connect people through the power of art. As an artist-run, community-focused gallery, every moment has been both a learning curve and a celebration.
Exhibiting artists this year
We’ve had the privilege of showcasing an extraordinary range of talent. Thank you to every artist who brought their unique creativity to our walls and shelves, whether for a full exhibition, a seasonal showcase, or as a regular artist/artisan.

Talent Gallery highlights of the 2025
Our second winter exhibition and late night shopping
One of our biggest highlights! Featuring six talented artists Tilly Willis, Caroline McMillan Davey, Matt Stoodley, Annie Musgrove, Sue Rickard, and Vivienne Littley, the Winter Exhibition brought in huge community support, late-night openings, a buzzing celebration evening, and the warm festive spirit only local art can bring.
Workshops flourished
Nina King introduced acrylic painting workshops which quickly grew into one of the gallery’s most loved features. Beginners created incredible paintings, and many left saying they were “hooked” on art for the first time in their lives. Seeing confidence grow has been a joy.
Heartwarming moments
Happy tears from a commission pick-up (“Le Chalet” in Guernsey)
Special pieces flying off to new homes — from Sammy the seal to Barry the blackbird
Celebrating our first year anniversary in June
Customers returning again and again, often just to feel inspired and uplifted
Community connections
Talent Gallery supported:
Wellington Women in Business
Nynehead Christmas Fayre
Local independent initiatives
And our first ever advert appeared in the Wellington Gazette and Somerset Life Magazine!
The gallery truly became a warm community hub with dogs, kids, families, browsers, makers, and art lovers all welcome.
Expanding our offer
We expanded our jewellery and ceramics offerings with stunning pieces and something for everyone. It all looks fantastic in our new storage units!
Here’s to even more art, inspiration, and connection in the year to come. Thank you to every artist, customer, supporter, and friend who walked through the door.
